What is Sonic 2?
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a 1991 platform video game developed and published by Sonic Team. It is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, released for the Sega Genesis console. In addition to continuing levels from the original game, it introduces new gameplay elements, including loops and steep hills. The game was re-released in 2006 as part of Sonic’s 25th anniversary celebration.
The story follows Sonic as he tries to stop Dr Robotnik from building a giant mechanical creature known as Eggmanland. To do this, he must travel through six zones—Angel Island Zone, Chemical Plant Zone, Desert Palace Zone, Flying Battery Zone, Iceberg Zone, and Mystic Ruins Zone—to reach Robotnik’s secret base at Casino Palace. Along his way, Sonic encounters familiar friends and foes such as Tails (who has upgraded since their last encounter), Knuckles the Echidna (now a powerful Werehog), and Eggman himself (in his final form).
Sonic 2 was met with critical acclaim upon release and has been cited as one of the greatest video games of all time. Critics praised its level design and graphics for their impressive level of detail, while also noting its faster pace than its predecessor. The game has been re-released on numerous platforms over the years; most recently for iOS devices in December 2012.

Conclusion
Overall, the 123 movies sonic 2 trailer was pretty good. I’m not sure if they were trying to be nostalgic or what, but they definitely pulled off some nostalgia vibes with a lot of classic scenes from the games being parodied. The CGI was pretty bad in my opinion and it looked like it could have been done better. However, I think that by 2020 we’ll be able to look back on this trailer and appreciate all of the progress that has been made since then.
